Kemptyfall :Kempty fall is located 15 km from Mussoorie The Kempty Falls are major attractions of Mussoorie. The falls are situated mid way between the Dehradun-Mussooriepath. Set on the hilly terrains, the Kempty falls are stunningly beautiful. The water cascading down from an altitude of 4,500 feet and splitting further into five cascades, the water falls from a height of 40 feet giving the appearance of water jumping and playing on the rocks before falling down. This place was developed as a tourist destination by John Mekinan, after 1835. The name Kemptyis derived from 'Camp-tea', as the Britishers would organise their tea parties here.PastKempty Fall, 12-km downhill, on crossing the Aglar River, one reaches the legendary Yamuna River. Trout are in abundance here, and fishing permits can be obtained form the Divisional Forest Officer, Mussoorie.

Visit Ganges, Aarti Puja in haridwar in the evening

Aarti Puja: This is the heart of Haridwar. It has got its name HarkiPauri as the Hindu God Hari descended to this place. The glimpses of Ma Ganga have unique significance here. The Hindus regard this Ghat as the most sacred Ghat. It is also famous as Brahmkund. As the name signifies, it is believed that the Hindu God Brahma descended on this place and from that time this place is known as Brahmkund. It is this Brahmkund where every Hindu wishes to take a dip at least once in lifetime to reserve a place in heaven. Har-ki-Pauri is also the scene of a memorable ritual every evening. After sunset, before disciplined ranks of devotees, Aarti is celebrated.

Day 4: Haridwar | Corbett Park

Departure for Corbett, arrive at Corbett Park, famous for its wild population of tigers, leopards and elephants.

Day 5: Corbett Park

Morning enjoy the most thrilling experience by Jeep Safari for wildlife viewing. Corbett is famous for the richness and diversity of its wildlife which included over 50 species of mammals and over 580 species of birds. The national park is an important refuge for the tiger, Indian elephant, wild dog, leopard cat, Indian pangolin and hog deer. All of which were once common throughout the terai of Uttar Pradesh but are now rarely seen outside the park. The terai (moist land) is a belt of marshy jungle and grassland stretching between the foothills of the Himalayas and the Indian plains, a large part of the terai is in Nepal.

Day 7: Nainital

Enjoy Snow View Point by Cable Car.VisitChidyaghar and Hanumangarhi Temple religious centre and a spot well known for its sunset.

Chidyaghar: Naini Tal has a small but a very beautiful Zoological garden. There are many animals kept here which includes Deers, Bears, Tigers and many more. The hygiene and cleanness of the zoo is a point which attracts the mind even if one ignores it. Not surprising this zoo is one of the cleanest zoos in the country. The zoo can be reached on foot or taxi can be hired. St. John's Church - This church was built in 1847. A brass memorial is kept in memory of the persons who were buried in the infamous landslide. The few bodies which could be dug out were buried in the church premises.

Hanumangarhi Temple:It is around 3.5 Kms away from the bus stop at an altitude of 1951 Mts. Hanuman Garhi is a religious centre and famous for its sun set view .One can go to Hanuman Garhi by taxi, bus or even on foot from Nainital .It has a temple complex presiding deity being Lord Hanuman besides Ram and Shiva. At the instance of Neem Karoli Baba around 1950 these temples were built. On the other side of the hill there is Shitala Devi temple and Ashram of Lila SahBapu.

Naina Peak: Known as the China peak this peak is the highest point in Nainital. From hereNainital appears as a bowl. You can walk or take ponies to the peak. From this peak you can capture the exciting views of Nainital. Naina peak also gives a good view of the Camelback peak. There is no hotel or restaurant on the top so carry food and water along with yourself.

Day 8
Day 8: Nainital | Ranikhet | Nainital (Excursion Trip)

Ranikhet: Founded in the year 1869 Ranikhet came up as one of the finest and most beautiful and picture cantonments of the country. Lord Mayo when became the governor general of India thought of changing summer capital of India from Shimla to Ranikhet and in this process also got survey of railway line to Ranikhet done. The panorama of Himalayan range visible from here is arguably the largest as visible from any other town in the Kumaon hills. Peace and solitude found here is almost incredible. Ranikhet has some how managed to preserve its virginity and pristine charm unlike other hill stations which have been turned into concrete forests. The old buildings, churches, barracks, bungalows and above all lush green forest all lend it an ambience that is unrivalled.

Kumaon Regiment: The famous Kumaon Regiment is one of the Indian army's best. On 27th October 1947, India's National Army fought for the preservation of India's freedom. The first person to die and get the ParamVir Chakra was Major Somnath Sharma from Fourth Kumaon at the Battle of Badgaun. Today, the Fourth KumaonRegiment which is the apex of the ParamVir Chakra of the Gallantry Award winners who had laid down their lives for the preservation of this motherland is in Udaipur. Golf Course: Ranikhet golf course is the second biggest natural golf course of the country. It is a nine hole course were rest of nine holes can be repeated. It is one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet. Very close to the golf course is the Kalika temple.
