Kemptyfall :Kempty fall is located 15 km from Mussoorie The Kempty Falls are major attractions of Mussoorie. The falls are situated mid way between the Dehradun-Mussooriepath. The water cascading down from an altitude of 4,500 feet and splitting further into five cascades, the water falls from a height of 40 feet giving the appearance of water jumping and playing on the rocks before falling down. Aarti Puja: This is the heart of Haridwar. It has got its name HarkiPauri as the Hindu God Hari descended to this place. The glimpses of Ma Ganga have unique significance here. Hanumangarhi Temple:It is around 3.5 Kms away from the bus stop at an altitude of 1951 Mts. Hanuman Garhi is a religious centre and famous for its sun set view .One can go to Hanuman Garhi by taxi, bus or even on foot from Nainital .It has a temple complex presiding deity being Lord Hanuman besides Ram and Shiva. At the instance of Neem Karoli Baba around 1950 these temples were built. On the other side of the hill there is Shitala Devi temple and Ashram of Lila SahBapu.
Naina Peak: Known as the China peak this peak is the highest point in Nainital. From hereNainital appears as a bowl. You can walk or take ponies to the peak. From this peak you can capture the exciting views of Nainital. Naina peak also gives a good view of the Camelback peak. Ranikhet: Founded in the year 1869 Ranikhet came up as one of the finest and most beautiful and picture cantonments of the country. Kumaon Regiment: The famous Kumaon Regiment is one of the Indian army's best. On 27th October 1947, India's National Army fought for the preservation of India's freedom. The first person to die and get the ParamVir Chakra was Major Somnath Sharma from Fourth Kumaon at the Battle of Badgaun. Today, the Fourth KumaonRegiment which is the apex of the ParamVir Chakra of the Gallantry Award winners who had laid down their lives for the preservation of this motherland is in Udaipur. Golf Course: Ranikhet golf course is the second biggest natural golf course of the country. It is a nine hole course were rest of nine holes can be repeated. It is one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet. Very close to the golf course is the Kalika temple.
